The medium cake box is perfect for a release of two to three dozen butterflies. The cake box is decorated with a white silk floral arrangement. When ready, you simply lift the lid off the box and out come the butterflies. Some will fly away while others will linger for a moment.

The best way to place the butterflies inside the box is to cut a small hole on the bottom of the box. Cut a slit approx. 1/3” wide by 2” long. Use this slit to slide the butterflies inside the box. Once they are all inside, tape a piece of white paper over the hole. You might want to hold the lid on with a rubber band or piece of string while you fill the box with butterflies to prevent it from falling off and prematurely releasing your butterflies.
